Sieber/Lealand Blue Agate (Slag)
This material is referred to as "ancient slag". Melting the rock to extract the copper ore produces a left over material
which is referred to as slag. Normally it is a dark, grayish color.
But in this case, the slag has some nice patterns of blue, grey and sometimes red. This particular slag is about 100 years old.
This blue slag can be cut and polished - either by hand or in a tumbler. The properties are similar to those of obsidian or glass.
