Rhodonite XL Oval Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound
Rhodonite is distinctive even in the mineral world: bright to deep gemmy pink, similary to rhodochrosite but without the banding,
encased in a black matrix. The black sets off the pink and makes it even brighter. The two tones are approximately evenly matched
in these stones, and each stone is unique. These stones were cut into thick, rough oval shapes before being highly polished,
almost like oval eggs. No two alike! Some may have a little yellowish-golden quartz too.
Size: from about 1 3/4" to 3" long, about 1 1/8" to 2 1/2" wide, and about 3/4" to 1 1/2" thick. 3 pieces per pound.
