Opal Agate Tumbled Stones - 1 Pound
These whitish stones are very unique: a cross between common opal and agate. They are translucent, and most have some brown-black dendrites, moss or inclusions in them. Some also exhibit water-level banding and/or are crossed with a clear material, likely chalcedony, that may have filled in, in a ruin formation, that result in a crazed appearance. Traces of matrix and/or inclusions of other minerals may be present. A most interesting stone!
Size: from about 1 to 1.5" long, and from about 5/8 to 1" wide. About 40 pieces per pound.
