Rainbow Obsidian Rough Stones - 1 Pound
These rainbow obsidian rough stones are a mystery: unattractive at first glance. The rainbow colors are visible where the
rough natural weathered exterior has been broken away to reveal the shiny banded interior. The colors are iridescent, including
blue, green and purple/pink, which formed and are visible in hazy layers or banding. Some also have silvery layers; each piece
is different. This is a stone that must be worked at the correct angle, unique to each piece, to reveal the wonderful colors, but
will have amazing lapidary/jewelry/flint knapping results.
Size: 1-5 pieces per pound if 1 pound ordered. To receive larger pieces, request a higher weight. Pieces up to 5 pounds available.
Unit for sale: 1 pound
Mined in Oregon (Davis Creek Rainbow).
