Office Manager for Gemstone Online Business

 

We are a branch of an international business located in the south of Tucson, selling gemstones and minerals mainly online. We want our business to grow and looking for an Office Manager who is able to run the online business mainly on his/her own.

This position requires good knowledge of minerals and gems, rough or worked and very good computer skills, mainly with Excel, Word but also handling the online shop (content management).

We are looking for an innovative person who is open to new technologies and willing to learn new techniques.

 

The Office Manager is also responsible for:

·         coordination of online sales (invoicing, prepare for shipping)

·         costumer support (email and phone, walk-in costumers)

·         online descriptions of products (maintenance of description and stock)

·         coordination of shipping department and employees

·         preparation of accounting

·         occasionally preparation of import and export shipments (paperwork)

·         preparation of and working during the Tucson Gem Show

·         long-term employment

 

We are looking for someone who has experience working (managing) with small business or has previously owned his/her own business, is task driven and does not require constant supervision. Ideal candidates have been several years in a similar position.
